Therefore, our approach is to send the address of their current service call to an existing app on the technician&#8217;s phone or tablet.<\/p>\n<h3>Enable Driving Directions<\/h3>\n<p>To enable driving directions, login to the P3 Software Command Center and:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click on Settings Under Dispatching<\/li>\n<li>Then, click on General Setting Under Tech Settings<\/li>\n<li>Click on &#8220;Enable Driving Directions&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2866\" src=\"https:\/\/myweburls.com\/hvacbusiness\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Settings.png\" alt=\"Enable Technician Driving Directions Setting\" width=\"1024\" height=\"888\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Send Driving Directions to the Phone As Well<\/h3>\n<p>Once activated you can decide if you want the driving directions sent to the technicians phone as well. If so, Activate the additional setting &#8211; &#8220;Ability to Text the Customer Address to Technician Phone&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that you must have the SMS\/Texting Module activated in your company account for this to work.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2867\" src=\"https:\/\/myweburls.com\/hvacbusiness\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Setting-to-Send-Driving-Directions-to-Phone-1024x878.png\" alt=\"Setting to Send Driving Directions to Phone\" width=\"1024\" height=\"878\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>How Technician Gets Driving Directions on App from Dispatch<\/h2>\n<p>The technician will go to their schedule and click on the link to the address for their current call.
